This database is a transcription of basic court records from 1840-1846, with an additional six cases from April 1847. These records are strictly transcribed so you may find alternate spellings of several last names. Some of the records included are: land sales, selling of slaves, debts, unpaid taxes, assault and battery, lewdness, larceny, and many others.
