Glenn Cardwell Copeland Creek Photograph Collection

These photos of the Pittman Center area were collected by Glenn Cardwell. They include photographs of people who lived in areas that became part of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, such as Copeland Creek, and Soap Ash Creek. The collection also contains photographs are areas outside the National Park, such as Webb Creek, Laurel Creek, Emert Cove, and more. This collection includes photographs from the Branam, Cardwell, Carpenter, Loveday, Parton, Plemmons, Reagan, Ridings, Russell, Vance, Whaley, and Williams families among others.

These photographs are on loan to the Maples History Center.
